AMG (4) _Tribal Tech has been one of the more prolific Fusionbands of the last decade and beyond, hey are a capable foursome, showing world class musicianship and a highly original sound that has now been generally accepted as a definitive style of modern fusion. They are technical and melodic, and set obnoxiouly difficult rhythmic settings for the creative outlets of each musicians virtuoso outbursts. Each player in this band is considered amounst the very best on their respective instruments, and as a whole they are a volatile, combustiative, elixer for fusion bliss. To say this CD stands out from the others is a matter of opinion, as they really don't put out bad music. M.J. Brady© ProGGnosis Down Beat (11/95, p.55) - 3 Stars - Good - "...Their music is still intense, they certainly haven't lost any chops....the animals are turned loose and the playing is ferocious..." |
